Young Paulists
After experiencing God through the work of the Paulist Missionaries (MSSP) in the Philippines, a group of young adults saw the need to continue the mission in Australia and form a community of young adults.
The Young Paulists aim to provide social justice and outreach opportunities, spiritual and religious support to young adults within a safe environment. These young adults are invited to come together to share their experiences, be supported by people who share the same outlook and direction, and offer support to other young adults.
This community of young adults meet twice monthly to explore our faith and organise activities to promote friendship and give back to the community.
Johan Fernando, one of the Young Paulists, shared a bit about his experience, “Being part of the YP community allowed me to grow in faith and support other young people in the parish. I’m grateful for being part of the vibrant community of St James who invests greatly in young people and creates fruitful spaces for me to thrive and give back.”
