The St James Function Committee has been running for about 18 years. The volunteers in this ministry organise both social and fundraising events for the parish. This includes providing tea, coffee and refreshments at special events such as information evenings. Each year they also organise the activities to celebrate St James Feast Day.

The members of the function committee provide a ministry that bring the parish together as a family. Many different groups within the parish get a table or two together and have a great time mingling with others from the church and getting to know them.
