Our Parish Sacramental Program consists of volunteers who wish to impart their knowledge and share their faith with school age children from a non-Catholic school, in order to urge and encourage them to grow in Christ.

The program guides our children through the Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist, and Confirmation in the hope that faith may successfully take root and serve as a foundation for all of their culture endeavours.

All Sacramental Programs run for 1 and a half hour on Saturday from 4:00 to 5:30pm.

If your child attends a non-Catholic School and would like to attend this program, please use this Sacramental Preparation Program Registration Form

First Reconciliation Program – 5 weeks

First Eucharist Program – 8 weeks

Confirmation Program – 8 weeks

Sacramental celebration follows after the completion of each program.

I joined the Sacramental Preparation Ministry in March 2021 and became the Sacramental Preparation Coordinator of that same year. Volunteering at St James Hoppers Crossing North Parish is my way of sharing the countless blessings that I received from the Parish. It has given me an opportunity to encounter Jesus through the many dedicated families and young people within our parish. I am grateful to our priests, Geralyn McCarthy, volunteer catechists and the principals of children from other schools.

Parishioners can reach us by contacting myself via email on hopperscrossingnorth.sacraments@cam.org.au or the parish office.
