We currently have four groups of singers for 6pm (Saturday), 9am, 11am (Sundays) and 5pm Youth Mass (Youth singers welcomed).

The Sunday 9am Mass Choir practice is held on Thursday mornings after 9.15am Mass in the Church. Enthusiastic singers are very welcome! Other Mass groups meet prior to Mass.

It is well to remember the words of Martin Luther: “Next to Theology, I give to music the highest place and honour. Music is the art of the prophets, the only art that can calm the agitations of the soul; it is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us.” 

Organists

St Macartan's have a wonderful 100-year-old pipe organ worth close to 1 million dollars. Therefore, we are very protective on who we allow to play this wonderful musical instrument.

If you are experienced in playing an Organ and would like to try out to join our organist team to play at Masses, please, we encourage you, to come and try out.
