Our Sacristans’ Guild meet for coffee, fellowship and work after the 9.15am Mass each Saturday morning.  All welcome to come along and join in.

Why St. Martha?



The scriptures give us an image of a woman with great strengths and courage who saw service and hospitality as central to her discipleship.

For some Martha is a warning of who not to be. Her story reminds us to be better people and put our priorities in order. But we should also see Martha as both a woman of faith and as a thankless heroine, a bastion of biblical womanhood and someone who isn’t afraid to dive in and do the work that needs to be done. What better patron for our Sacristans’ Guild.  Feast Day: July 29^th
