Baptism is a significant step in the life of a child, the beginning of a journey of faith towards God who gives life. Parents should not take this step lightly or without an awareness of the commitment they are undertaking. For this reason we seek to prepare for Baptism through a coming together, reflecting on the role of the Christian parent, and on the part the Christian community plays in the faith formation of a child.

Usually baptisms occur at 11.15am on Sunday at Sorrento, 10:45am on Saturday at Rosebud and by arrangement at Dromana. Arrangements are made according to the circumstances of each family.
