Baptisms are held on the 4th Sunday of the month at 12.30pm.

Parents are required to attend a preparation session.

A 'Welcome Mass' is held on the 1st Sunday of the month at the 9:30 Mass when the child/ren are introduced to the community and receive the blessing from one of our parishioners. You are invited to attend this Mass in the month which you are having the Baptism.

The Godparents choice is very important. They are the "sponsors", therefore should be a "member" of the organization which the child is joining. The Godparents role is to support the child in the development of the Catholic faith. Therefore, all Godparents should be baptised in a Christian denomination. One Godparents MUST be a Catholic who has been confirmed.

It is customary to offer a donation of $150 which can be brought on the meeting, on Baptism Day or paid by Bank transfer.

As a formality, if you live outside the parish boundary, you will need a letter of permission from the parish in which you reside.

Adults will need to undertake RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation Adults) program.
