St Patrick's Catholic Church

St Patrick's Catholic Church is situated on the corner of Murrumbeena Road and Dalny Road, Murrumbeena.

It was established in 1946. St Patrick’s Parish, Murrumbeena, was established in 1946.Former Parish Priests include Fr Bill Rovira, Fr Max Grabau, Fr Bill Bainbridge, Fr Barry Tobin, Father Paul Newton and Fr Leenus Neetany SAC (administrator).

This forms a partnered Parish with St Kevin's Catholic Church in Ormond. The Parish Priest Father Siby John SAC.

St Patrick's Primary School was conducted by the Sister's of the Presentation Order until 1973. Since then, the school has been staffed by lay principals and teachers. In the early 1960s the school population was well over 300 children, with large class sizes.

With families we foster the initiation of the young into the Christian life. We listen to Christ’s saving message and attempt to implement it in our daily living. We come together to worship God through the celebration of the Eucharist and we engage in good works supporting one another in our daily living and in celebrating friendship, significant personal, family and community milestones.
