Baptism is the sacrament of initiation into the Church. Bringing children into the family of God and the Catholic faith.

At Good Shepherd parish we receive many enquiries regarding the Baptism program. All parents wishing to organize a Baptism are required to attend a Preparation Meeting. It is important to give yourself enough time prior to your desired date for baptism to attend.

Baptisms are celebrated once a month on a Sunday at 12:30 pm. Please contact Paish office to make an appointment.

It is best to apply for baptism at least 2 months before the baptism date.

All parents need to attend the baptism preparation class which runs for about 2 hours. Our baptism preparation team will contact you once you have submitted the form.
