We have opportunities of volunteers in different sectors of our parish community. If you wish to help please ring or visit the office on Wednesday or Friday or ring on 5286 1230.

All volunteers will need to have a police check and a current working with children’s check.

Pastoral Group:

If you are able to knit or crotchet, we can provide the wool. Prayer Shawls are given to anyone who is ill, have lost a loved one, or are in need of comfort. These Prayer Shawls are made with love and prayer and are available for any person of any denomination.

Sacristan:

These people help set up for Mass

Flower Roster:

A roster is made up at the beginning of the year with our volunteers preparing flowers approximately three to four times a year. Generally you have someone helping with you.

St Joseph’s Op-Shop:

The Op-Shop is run by volunteers and is open Wednesday and Friday 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

Church Environment:

Everyone has a special talent/gift. If you play the guitar, organ or can sing, please think about offering this gift for a Sunday Mass.

Hospitality Group:

A group of Parishioners who make an intentional connection with new or visiting people to welcoming them to our Parish.

Children’s Liturgy:

If you love children or have a gift for teaching, we have a rotating roster of such people helping out with children’s liturgy during Mass each Sunday in Bannockburn
