Be an active member of the Parish
We welcome all Catholics who live within our parish jurisdiction. We invite our parishioners to share with us their current information on their families so that the Parish can best serve them. If you are new to the Parish, please collect a Welcome Pack from the Gathering Area of the church. Once the census form is completed place it in the white return box in the Gathering Area.

Home Visits & House Blessings
St Dominic's Parish Melton serves the Catholic faithful in the communities of Melton, Melton West, Bonnie Brook, Harkness, Grangefields, Kurunjang, Plumpton, Rockbank, and Toolern Vale.
To request a booking, please complete the form and indicate:
- your preferred clergy,
- your proposed date, and
- your proposed time.
After submitting the form, you will receive an email confirming that your booking request has been submitted. Please note that this email DOES NOT YET CONFIRM the booking. A member of the parish will review your request and contact you to confirm the booking or discuss details and clergy availability.
All bookings are subject to the availability of our clergy.
Please also note that Deacon Chris usually conducts home visits and house blessings on Saturdays between 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm only.

Are you considering becoming Catholic?
Many adults are welcomed into the Catholic Church each year through the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). The RCIA is also known as the Catechumenate, an early church term that recognises a Catechumen as a non-baptised person preparing for Baptism and initiation into the Catholic Church.
The RCIA takes place within a parish community in a relaxed and supportive environment to allow the candidate to share in the life of the Church expressed in a local faith community. It offers a way to grow in the knowledge of Christ and the Catholic faith in company with others on a similar journey.
The non-baptised who are suitably prepared are welcomed into the Catholic Church by the reception of the three Sacraments of Initiation, namely Baptism, Confirmation and Holy Eucharist.

Remembering our Loved ones with our Memorial Wall
In some parishes, a columbarium and memorial walls are established to provide a peaceful and respectful atmosphere, connected with the worshipping space of the community, which would enable family and friends to pray for and reflect on their loved ones who have died.
In our parish, a Memorial Wall was built for plaques to be placed in memory of loved ones who have been interred elsewhere. The Columbarium and Memorial Wall, like the church graveyard of old, are links between the living and the dead who are ever joined in the communion of saints. From Baptism to death and life beyond, we share a common bond of love — linked by faith and prayer, honour and respect.
