The Parish Leadership is working to create and maintain a 'Child Safe environment' within the parish.  We are committed to a safe and nurturing culture for all children and young people in our Church.

As a parish within the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne, St Luke’s Parish, Lalor holds the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as central and fundamental responsibility of the Church. This commitment is drawn from and inherent to the teaching and mission of Jesus Christ, with love, justice and the sanctity of each human person at the heart of the Gospel.

Each year, on Safeguarding Sunday, our parish signs and ratifies our committment to the Child Safe Policy and Framework of the Archdiocese. This declaration is displayed in the Church foyer and the Parish office.
