Congratulations on Your Engagement!
If you wish to celebrate your Catholic marriage (the Sacrament of Matrimony) at one of our parish churches—Our Lady Help of Christians (Broadford), St. Patrick’s (Kilmore), or Our Lady of the Way (Wallan)—please contact the parish office to schedule an initial meeting with our parish priest. He will guide you through all the necessary steps to prepare for your wedding.

Wedding Policy (effective from 4th of April 2025)
Helpful Information for Planning Your Wedding
You will be asked to provide the following documents at the initial meeting:
Baptism Certificates | At least one person must be a baptised Catholic
Birth Certificates | Both parties
Freedom to Marry Form | If you do not reside in our parish boundaries, this must be obtained from the parish where you currently reside
Driver's Licence or Passport | Both Parties should bring their driver's licence or passport
Our parish priest will also assist you in fulfilling the marriage preparation course requirements. You will receive the information of the options of the marriage preparation course at the meeting or via email.
Costs
Church using fee - $350 (including $100 non-refundable deposit)
Priest's fee - $350
