Appointment of Parish Priest

We are pleased to announce that Archbishop Peter Comensoli has appointed Rev. Peter-Damien McKinley as the new Parish Priest of St Mary of the Assumption Parish, commencing 25 November 2026.

We warmly welcome Fr Peter-Damien to our parish community and look forward to his ministry and leadership among us. We pray that his time with our parish will be filled with many blessings as we continue to grow together in faith and community.

We would also like to sincerely thank Fr Vinh Do for his guidance, care and ministry to our parish during this period of transition. We are very grateful for the support and pastoral presence he has provided while we have awaited the appointment of our new Parish Priest.

Please join us in welcoming Fr Peter - Damien to St Mary of the Assumption and in keeping both Fr Peter- Damien and Fr Vinh in our prayers as they begin their respective ministries with us.
