Since 2019, the Parish of St James the Apostle has been on a planned journey to grow with our expanding community.

·       Stage 1: Relocation of the Presbytery to the rear of the property in 2020

·       Stage 2: Renovation of the Church, completed in 2021

Stage 3 is the final stage of our original Master Plan. The planning process has been underway since early 2024. This stage includes the construction of a Community Centre to the north of the Church and the completion of the surrounding landscaping, with construction expected to begin in February 2026 and be completed by October 2026.

The new Community Centre will support the life of our parish by providing:

·       Dedicated spaces for parish ministries and meetings

·       A welcoming venue for guest speakers, formation and retreats

·       Overflow space for Masses and major celebrations

·       Additional toilets to support our expanded church

·      A kitchen for hospitality, encouraging fellowship after Mass

Stage 3 is about more than a building — it is about creating a place where our parish family can gather, grow in faith, and belong,

now and into the future.
