Becoming a Catholic for Adults
Each year many hundreds of people begin the process of becoming Catholic. Sometimes it is because they know a Catholic and feel attracted to how that person lives or to the community they belong to. Other times it is because they feel God drawing them into a relationship or because they are looking for deeper meaning and purpose in their life.
At Easter 2024, we welcome 7 new members to our parish community, their reflections are found HERE.
Whatever the reason for your interest in the Catholic Church, please be assured that we are excited to have the opportunity to welcome you and to accompany you as you explore faith in Jesus and belonging in the Catholic Church.
We invite you to the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).
The RCIA is a Catechumenate program which has its roots in an ancient tradition within the church that companions and supports people who enquire. There is never any pressure to join but only a respectful relationship that allows each person the freedom to experience their own spiritual journey.
To enquire, please fill out this ENQUIRY FORM.
Alternatively, you may wish to contact our RCIA Coordinator, Felix Choo on 0431 008 563
(best to drop him an SMS/Whatsapp first)
If required, the Parish Office would also be able to assist with your enquiries 03 9401 6367
