Parishioners returning bottles and cans at refund points operated by CDS Vic East can now donate their refund directly to the Parish Social Justice Group by using the Parish Donation Partner ID C2000075764 or barcode.

We’re excited to partner with Return-It Vic!  Now we can support the Parish Social Justice Group by returning our eligible empty bottles and cans.

Share this ID with family and friends so they can donate too. Every container collected earns 10 cents for the Parish Social Group!

How to Donate Your Containers:

1.     Choose Your Return Point

o   Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs): Feed containers in and select “Donation” on the touchscreen, then choose our church.

o   Automated Depots: Ask staff to set your session to “Donation” or use the touchscreen at the end to select our church.

o   Bag Drop / Express Points: Write our Donation Partner ID on your bag or select our Parish via the kiosk/app.

2.     Use the Mobile App

o   Each region has an app (e.g., CDS Vic East for Victoria) to manage donations digitally.

o   Set “Donation” as your default payout method so refunds automatically go to the Parish Social Justice Group

3.     Home Pickup (ReCollect)

o   In some areas, schedule a pickup via the app and select “donate refunds” to our church instead of receiving a deposit.

Tips:

·        Only containers with the 10c refund mark are eligible.

·        Lids can usually stay on, but check your site’s instructions.

·        Always use our Donation Partner ID C2000076164 to make sure funds go directly to the Parish Social Justice Group
