Our Safeguarding Committee
St Anthony's Safeguarding Committee is proactively working towards meeting the responsibilities set by the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne. This is called the Safeguarding Children and Young People Framework and guides the implementation of the child safety policies, procedures and practices for all parishes.
There is a lot of information available to support the Parish as well as information for parishioners to become familiar with the requirements.

Mandatory Safeguarding Essentials Training (for parishioners, volunteers, clergy & staff)
Below is the link to the Mandatory Online Training for all volunteers of St Anthony's Parish. Please login using your Working With Children Check (WWCC) number which takes you to the Catholic Archdiocese Melbourne (CAM) system.

Should you commit to becoming a volunteer, we require all volunteers to:
- Complete Safeguarding Training and Induction
- Agree to and sign our Code of Conduct
- Provide a valid Working with Children Check linked to St Anthony's Parish
- Provide basic contact details (stored confidentially) in the event of an emergency.
