Spiritual Growth
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) &
Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC)
“To equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ” Ephesians 4:12
The RCIA and RCIC is primarily intended for those who are unbaptised and preparing to receive the sacraments of initiation – Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at the Easter Vigil.
It is the inspiration and the structure of how a community ministers to someone who sets out on the path to being initiated into the Catholic Church.

RCIA PROGRAM – The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults
If you have been thinking about becoming Catholic or have questions about taking the next step or to deepen your spirituality we are here to help – Welcome!
The parish RCIA journey begins in mid OCTOBER (2019) and concludes after Easter (2020). RCIA is an integral part of the life of the Church and normal way of preparing adults for the sacraments of initiation. This journey of faith and discovery is never walked alone, but always in unity with the whole parish community.

Spiritual Direction
“we are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”
— Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
An ancient practice that dates back to the early Church, spiritual direction is a ministry deeply rooted in the Christian tradition. Most fundamentally, the goal of spiritual direction is to help one to become more aware of God’s presence in his or her life and to make life decisions in fidelity to that awareness. Through the guidance of a trained spiritual director, this ministry can help one clarify, articulate and affirm a spiritual experience as revealed through all the situations and events in life. Spiritual direction is not psychotherapy or counseling, but utilizes the many skills of counseling.
