Time and Talent

Our communities rely on the generosity of its parishioners for the running of weekly masses and of services the parishes provide.

Many parishioners already assist in different ways. You can volunteer and be rostered as part of the team in any one of the following areas:

• Communion to the elderly and sick*
• Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
• Children’s Liturgy**
• Monthly Morning tea
• Counters*
• Reader
• Commentator
• Cleaning and or Gardening
• Writing the prayers of the faithful
• Parish Pastoral Council
• Parish Finance Committee*
• Sacristan

Thanksgiving programme

Parishioners are invited to contribute to the ongoing financial support of the parish. The Parish was built on the generosity of those who have come before us. It is the responsibility of us now to be generous within our means, to ensure the existence of the Parish in the future. *This requires you to have a police check. A police check under the Adult Aged/Disabled Care category is required for those volunteering to give communion to the sick and elderly.  Online forms can be found at the Victoria Police website.  Fees associated with this will be reimbursed by the parish.

**Working with children as part of the Children’s Liturgy requires as Working with Children Check.  Forms are available at Australia Post outlets and, as your services are voluntary, no fee is required.
