Children from Grade 4 and up are invited to participate in the Sacrament Preparation Program for First Holy Communion.

2026 First Holy Communion Information

Registration: until no later than 1 April 2026 through the Parish Office. Children must attend ALL of the classes below to be able to receive the Sacrament of First Communion.

Registrations must be in before 1 April 2026 to be part of this year’s program.

Introduction night: Tuesday, 5th May, 2026, at 7pm in the Church.

Followed by 5 classes: Held at St Paul Apostle Schools or After School Religious Education (ASRE). 

(ASRE classes are for children who do not attend either of St Paul Apostle Schools. )

(Dates for ASRE Classes are TO BE ADVISED, usually on TUESDAYS from 4pm to 5pm in the Church)

Final Class: Tuesday, 16 June, 2026, 7pm in the Church.

First Communion Masses are: Saturday, 20 June 2026 (times to be advised, as depending to numbers, we may have 2 sessions). 

(if we have 2 sessions, choice of Mass will be opened after Introduction Night)

General Info: 

Donation is $25 per child per sacrament.

If your child is not a student of either of the St Paul Apostle Primary Schools, they are required to attend After School Religious Education (ASRE), which is held at the Parish Office. Please contact the Parish Office for more details about ASRE. 

Both the Introduction Night, and the Final Class will be held at our Parish Church.
