Have you, or someone you know, felt God calling you to explore the Catholic faith? St Peter & Paul's Parish will be commencing our Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program at 9:30am Sunday 20 September 2026—a welcoming journey for those interested in learning more about the Catholic Church and preparing to receive the Sacraments of Initiation. Whether you are just beginning to ask questions about the Catholic faith or are ready to take the next step, we warmly invite you to join us. Adults who wish to discover more about the Catholic faith with a view to becoming full sacramental members of the church, are encouraged to participate in RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults).
The RCIA process is offered each year, commencing in September and concluding in May. A team of dedicated parishioners support this initiative which includes evening meetings, Sunday catechesis and special celebrations at St Patrick’s Cathedral. The program culminates with a joyous welcome into the church when the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation) are received.
