The Church welcomes all people who genuinely search for God. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is designed for people who feel a call to know more about Jesus Christ and the Catholic faith. The RCIA is a process for preparing adults for Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist (Holy Communion). It is also for those who have been baptized (in any Christian faith) who wish to complete their Initiation into the Catholic Church. It involves a series of sessions learning about the life of Jesus through the Gospels, to discuss what His message means for us in everyday life and to enlighten, inform and discuss Catholic beliefs and practices.
