All volunteers in our parish must:
• Complete the Parish Census Card
• hold a current Working With Children Check
• complete the Safeguarding Essentials online training module
• sign the Code of Conduct
Please complete the above at your earliest convenience to ensure our parish is fully compliant with the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne’s policies and the Victorian Child Safe Standards.

3) SAFEGUARDING ESSENTIALS ONLINE TRAINING

The Registration token is: SAFEGUARDING
This compulsory module has been developed for all clergy and volunteers of the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne (CAM). This module will provide you with foundational knowledge in relation to safeguarding children, young people and vulnerable persons from abuse and harm.
4) CODE OF CONDUCT
This can be signed as part of the online training. Alternatively, a hard copy of the Code of Conduct can be obtained from the Parish Office.

Please note:
- Volunteers will be required to complete the training every 3 years.
- VIT registered teachers must also complete the Safeguarding Essentials training.
- The Safeguarding Children and Young People Code of Conduct (previously a separate document) has now been incorporated into the online training system.
