Welcome Message from the Priest of the Parish

Dear Parishioners Welcome to the parish community of St Thomas the Apostle in Blackburn. If you are new to the Parish, please make yourself known to us so that we can welcome you personally. Our parish is part of the Missionaries of the Sacred Heart Order and we aim to ‘Be on Earth the Heart of God'– this is our charism. We work constantly to bring the message of Jesus Christ to other’s hearts and life through our actions and words. It is our fervent hope that we do this well through prayer, service, the sacraments and our warm and welcoming hospitality. Pope Francis encourages us to feel God’s love and presence in our lives and to follow Christ’s example with joy in our hearts.

Feel free to refer to our parish bulletin or on this website for our mass times and we look forward to meeting you after weekend Masses or in the office.
