Taizé Prayer at St Michael’s Parish

Come, be still, and rest in the presence of the Lord.

Dear friends,

St Michael’s Parish warmly invites you to join us for our monthly Taizé Prayer Service at Holy Spirit Church, Manifold Heights, on the third Thursday of each month, from 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm.

Taizé prayer is a beautiful opportunity to pause from the busyness of daily life and draw closer to God through silence, stillness, meditative music, and prayer. In the peaceful presence of the Blessed Sacrament exposed on the altar, we are invited to open our hearts to the Lord, reflect on His Word, and rest in His loving presence.

The gentle singing and the warm glow of candlelight remind us that Christ is the Light of the World, guiding us with His peace, hope, and love.

Come as you are, bring your intentions, and allow this sacred time of prayer to renew your spirit and deepen your relationship with God.

Everyone is warmly welcome. Come and pray with us as we gather in faith, silence, and the light of Christ.

“Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
