St Theresa’s Parish Prayer

Heavenly Father, we commit ourselves to continue to grow in our faith.

Lord Jesus, in gathering in your name, we strive to be people who welcome everyone, support those in need, demonstrate compassion and respect for others.

We acknowledge our past and the land we gather on; we draw strength from the Spirit in the present; and look towards the future by continuing to develop our parish community as a place of peace and love.

Holy Spirit, through your guidance, St Theresa of Lisieux became an example for us all. She devoutly practiced her faith and taught us to “Do small things well.”

As a parish nourished by prayer, the Word, Eucharist and one another, we call on you to fill us with the wisdom to live lives that give witness to your divine plan for us.
